Who you’ll work with…
One year it's inbound marketing. The next it's GTM strategies. Then AI-powered content engines. The playbooks and software evolve, the distribution channels shift, but the principles of good writing and marketing stay the same.
Over the past fifteen years I've worked as a freelancer and inside agencies. What I've seen is that agencies lose the personal touch when they scale, and one freelancer can't always offer everything a client needs.
So I built Storylead Studio. It's founder-led, which means I work on every account, and I bring in specialists when a project needs it. I only take on a small roster of clients at a time because I want to know your business almost as well as you do, and that requires rigour and investment.
My time as a journalist taught me how to research and find the story. My years in marketing taught me the tactics you need to hold someone's attention.
After hundreds of onboarding calls and rounds of edits, I've learnt that most people know what they want to say. They just can't get it out of their head and onto the page. Or they can, but they don't have the time, which is why they partner with me.

I use it for analysis, workflows and admin. Beyond that is your call, and we can set the guardrails to match your project's requirements. Some clients want a content engine built, and I can do that too.

Yes — it's my preferred setup.

That one post is going to go viral and change everything. It probably won't. Good content compounds over time.
That said, if you just need a single deliverable done well, I can help.

Plenty of people can write. Fewer are easy to work with. I'm both, and I stick to deadlines.
